Maham Chirag
Maham Chiragh is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and researcher based in Pakistan, and a 2024 Prince Claus Fund Fellows Awardee under the Moving Narratives program . Her work explores the intersections of gender equality, sacred geographies, memory, and environment through visual media, sound, and writing. Maham’s process is deeply rooted in listening—to the subtle ways bodies, land, and spirit shape and imprint upon one another.
Alongside her individual practice, she co-creates collaborative spaces outside institutional frameworks, facilitating collective research and experimentation. Her curatorial projects, workshops, and dialogues engage participants in reimagining decolonial narratives and embodying alternative forms of relating to place and community.
