Ali Sattar’s practice traces the relationship between color, landscape, and memory. During his time in Karoonjhar, he documented the mountain’s shifting hues — the tones of stone, sand, and sky — as a living archive of place. His surviving images stand as fragments of a chromatic language, where color becomes a vessel for remembrance, loss, and the enduring spirit of the land.
